Marketing for Silvassa, industry and weekends in one town
Silvassa runs two economies at once. A substantial manufacturing base selling to buyers across India, and a weekend tourism trade pulling visitors from Mumbai, Surat and the whole corridor. They need almost opposite marketing.
01 — The market
Two economies, two completely different jobs
The manufacturing side is a credentials sale. Plastics, textiles, engineering and packaging units selling to buyers who are comparing specifications and capacity, mostly from outside the territory. The website is the credential, and the work is making a serious operation look serious.
The hospitality side is the opposite. Resorts, hotels and restaurants competing for a decision someone makes on a Thursday about a Saturday, usually on a phone, usually after looking at photographs and a review score. Occupancy on the quiet nights is the number, not reach.
A detail that catches agencies out: Silvassa is in the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu union territory, not Gujarat. Location targeting set to Gujarat quietly excludes it, which is one of the more expensive mistakes we see on inherited ad accounts.

03 — Questions
What Silvassa businesses
ask us first.
Can you run campaigns that target Silvassa properly?
Yes, and it is worth asking anyone who already runs yours. Silvassa sits in the union territory rather than Gujarat, so an account targeted at Gujarat does not reach it. We check that before anything else on an inherited account.
We are a resort competing with Mumbai weekend options. What actually works?
Photography that is honest and current, a review score you are managing rather than hoping about, and campaigns aimed at the nights you need filled instead of the weekends that fill themselves.
